As many of you know, our last critically-acclaimed production, The Hourglass and the Poisoned Pen, has been invited to the prestigious New York Musical Theater Festival, September 27 and 28! Chicago Tap Theatre is the only tap dance company and the only dance company from Chicago invited to this annual event. This will help CTT and Chicago dance gain exposure in the theater capital of the world, New York.

Meet Caitlin Gudat, CTT's Choreography Competition Winner!
Point Park University dance student Caitlin Gudat has just been named the winner of Chicago Tap Theatre's nationwide "Innovation in Tap Choreography Competition." In addition to having the honor of setting her original work, "Wade," on one of the nation's most exciting and accomplished professional tap companies, Caitlin wins a round-trip ticket to and accommodations in Chicago, as well as a $1,500 choreography fee.

Chicago Tap Theatre releases "Top Tap Tips" book!
CTT has just published its first book, “Top Tap Tips: A Book of Tap Wisdom Compiled By and Featuring Photos of Chicago Tap Theatre.” The book pairs stunning photographs of the company in performance and rehearsal with instructional and inspirational quotes from the masters of tap dance, both past and present.
